Too cheesy for your taste.
By Airah | May 27, 2008
Bleh. I miss blogging. I haven’t logged in to my Wordpress account for ages. In fact, I had to stop and think for about 5 seconds to remember my password.
Actually, I don’t have anything to blog. On second thought.. Well, of course, I do. I seldom open this account so might as well type something.
I’m currently reading my tita’s Legend by Jude Deveraux. Corny, I know. But the writing is really good. Much better than her older novel, AKISA. Reading time travel novels seems to perk me up nowadays.
Oh! I’m keeping in touch with my HS and elem classmates in Friendster. It’s nice to know that most people are doing pretty well. And whenever they asked me back, I reply, “Everything is pretty good too.” Except that one thing. Well, you know what I mean.
Anyway, I’m not in a hurry. Cheesy, but I still believe in happily-ever-afters.
And right now, my priority is my studies. One can never go wrong with that answer. Haha. Seriously though, there’s life after college. And that’s something I could always look forward to.
Next to my macadamias, of course. It makes me happy.

One day at a time, puhleaze.
By Airah | March 31, 2008
YESTERDAY:
- Lazed the whole day away in front of the computer screen. One hour, I’m Friendster’s prodigal child. Next three hours, I’m addicted to Youtube. Can’t believe I watched Nigahiga’s channel for hours. Yiiiiih. He’s really funny. And I like funny guys. Nyahaha. Me loved Yahoo Answers too. I could browse for hours and never get bored.
- Went to a Sunday night mass. I noticed that people who don’t know each other no longer hold hands for the “Ama Namin” part. Waiiiiit. Wait wait wait. Before you say something, let me just put it this way… I miss the old times when people would care to bridge the gap and stand in between the rows just to hold a stranger’s hand. And honestly, when I was a kid, that’s the second thing I loved looking forward to, next of course to Jollibee value meals after mass.
TODAY:
- Grades. Not bad. But I’m no longer the girl with the high grades. Pahirapan na kasi, maaan! Btw, I’m not obsessing with my grades right now. Hehe:) Seriously though, I really don’t care as long as I don’t flunk. Mom said it best: “Basta pumasa ka, okay sa akin.”
- Enrollment. I’m an incoming senior student (cheers!) …with summer duties (booo!!!)
- Shopping. Shopping. Shopping. Went to Rustan’s with mom. Bought a Nivea Sunblock and a new pair of Havs.

Havs is love. =)
I almost splurged on a white swimsuit cover up but didn’t. I realized that almost everything is ridiculously expensive in Rustan’s. Haha. Went to Glorietta instead, bought a halter cover up and short shorts of different colors for me and maternity pants for my mom.
- It’s late. Almost midnight. Me alone in the living room and the only flashing bright light I see is in front of me — boohooo, monitor lights. Ohmi, it’s getting creepier by the second.

Congratulations virus, you crashed my computer.
By Airah | March 14, 2008
Days ago, my dad downloaded an attachment file and poof, the computer just shutted down and wouldn’t start. He immediately did a PC recovery stuff… but the damage has been done. My pictures, files, mp3s.. everything was gone. So you can just imagine how bad I really felt during that time… I was so pissed off with my dad for stupidly trying to open every email (chain or not) which he receives from his colleagues.
Oh btw, that was also the moment when I realized the importance of doing backups.
Good thing, I was able to save the revised thesis files on my USB two weeks ago. If not for that wonderful technology named USB flash drive, I’m doomed. Oh yep, the PC was as good as new… but disturbingly empty. I have to reinstall everything.. MS Word, iTunes, Limewire, etc. God, I hate those viruses! Hate doubled to those who creates them!
**********
OMG, I’m so envious. Half of my RLE groupmates-cum-blockmates will go barhopping tonight as a form of semester-ending celebration. They even asked for my opinion on which bar to go. Ha! As if I know much about bars… The first and the last time I went barhopping was after my debut party last year. And for me, that was like, eons ago.
My groupmates told me that they’ll go to Eastwood first; then they will start barhopping from there. Coolness. If only my parents would allow me again…

Self-made dilemma
By Airah | March 11, 2008
Many things are boggling my mind right now.
I don’t know if I would still want to renew my domain name. I mean, this site is dead. I haven’t posted anything here for ages. Besides, I don’t have enough money for the domain renewal. It’s my bestfriend’s b-day this coming Friday and in a way, it’s expected that I should have a gift for her. Final exams are coming and so are the semester-ending celebrations (e.g. malls, Star City).
Akjhfkiaufuklasf… Arghhh.
Although blogging isn’t my thing anymore, I still want something that I could consider my own piece of digital home. In short, I still want this blog. Same layout, same colors… Ahh. I guess, I simply can’t give this blog up.

Last minute year-end post!
By Airah | December 31, 2007
I just finished watching Prison Break season 1 today… *chants stupidly* Prison Break Prison Break… *still chanting* I can’t believe I’ve watched season 2 first before watching season 1. Oh well.
Because I’m such a certified couch potato, I haven’t got the time to send a customize New Year message to my real friends and acquaintances at Friendster. I even haven’t finished reading my notes and everything about the research. God, I’m not good at setting priorities right now.
Anyway, just so you know, this is a last minute post… I’m actually planning to type my New Year’s resolution days before but well, I don’t have the time. Yeah, bite me.
And since I’m so excited to get out to watch those fireworks, I thought of only one resolution that I need to really do this year. And that is to BE PUNCTUAL.
I don’t wanna be called the perennial latecomer anymore. I wanted to be punctual in every class, every duty, every meeting.. as in every occasion. Oh well, that depends if an occasion is really that important.
Believe me, I’ve tried to bring back the former blogger in me, the one who usually posts every other day.. but I guess, some things aren’t exactly the way it is before. This is the honest version of me. I don’t edit drafts anymore. I blog for myself. And I’m loving it.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! May 2008 bring love, peace and hope to each and everyone of us. Cheers!
